Textile Design & Production Internships - Printfresh Studio
Printfresh Studio is looking for currently-enrolled students to assist us in our fashion-textile design studio! We participate with all schools' credit/co-op programs. This is a great opportunity for someone to experience one of the many facets of the fashion industry. The intern's mission will be to support our Sales, Production, and Design teams by assisting in designing/drawing, preparing, and archiving our product, as well as supporting our sales and marketing functions.
Some of our internship responsibilities will include:
-Keeping our textile and print archives clean, organized, and easy to shop
-Archiving all vintage and original designs following sales days
-Preparing, cutting, ironing, archiving vintage swatches and garments
-Assisting in production functions, such as styling, serging and cutting samples of original artwork
-Having all available original prints steamed/styled for sales appointments
-Photographing our products in high-quality (webstore-ready) resolution
-Assisting with light cleaning and organizing in the studio
-Assisting out designers with drawing, painting, scanning, and laying out designs in Photoshop
-Creating and and presenting a trend/moodboard presentation to the design team (design and sales interns)
-Creating and presenting a group of textile prints of your design (design interns)
-Creating and presenting a social media strategy and presenting to the team (marketing interns)
-May have opportunity to assist our design managers with fashion trend research
-May have opportunity to visit NYC fashion showrooms to support our sales team
-May have opportunity to assist with curating, art directing, or copywriting for social media accounts
-May have opportunity to assist with our new ventures: Printfresh, a boho stationery line, and Voloshin, Printfresh founder Amy Voloshin's eponymous fashion label
-Interns are required to work at least one FULL workday (9:00-5:30) during the work week (M-F); partial days are not permitted on the program until one full day requirement is met.
-Internships are for current students or very recent graduates (within the last 6 months) only.
-Interns must be majoring in a field that is applicable to our business (textile design, illustration, fashion marketing, PR/marketing, etc) and should have a general understanding of our aesthetic and what we do.

Internships at Printfresh Studio are for school credit. We provide a $10.00/day stipend for travel, paid bi-weekly on the employees' payroll schedule.
