Learn more about our studio at www.printfreshstudio.com or follow us on instagram: @printfreshstudio !
We participate with all schools' credit/co-op programs. This is a great opportunity for someone to experience one of the many facets of the fashion industry. The intern's mission will be to support our Sales, Production, and Design teams by assisting in designing/drawing, preparing, and archiving our product, as well as supporting our sales and marketing functions. Please note that internships are open to currently-enrolled students or very recent graduates (within the last 6 months).
Some of our internship responsibilities will include:
-Keeping our textile and print archives clean, organized, and easy to shop
-Archiving all vintage and original designs following sales days
-Preparing, cutting, ironing, archiving vintage swatches and garments
-Assisting in production functions, such as styling, serging and cutting samples of original artwork
-Having all available original prints steamed/styled for sales appointments
-Photographing our products in high-quality (webstore-ready) resolution
-Assisting with light cleaning and organizing in the studio
-Assisting out designers with drawing, painting, scanning, and laying out designs in Photoshop
-Creating and and presenting a trend/moodboard presentation to the design team (design and sales interns)
-Creating and presenting a social media strategy and presenting to the team (marketing interns)
-May have opportunity to assist our design managers with fashion trend research
-May have opportunity to visit NYC fashion showrooms to support our sales team
-May have opportunity to assist with curating, art directing, or copywriting for social media accounts
-May have opportunity to assist with our new ventures: Printfresh, a boho stationery line, and Voloshin, our founder Amy Voloshin's eponymous fashion label
Interns are mentored by one of our designers or managers, and expected to complete a mood board project that you will present to our design team and add to your personal portfolio or CV. Design Interns will also be given the optional opportunity of designing their own group of prints. Sales and Social Media Interns will develop a strategy for sales and social media outreach, or ID new markets and customers for their project.
Please apply through our website using the Workable link on our careers page, and state clearly in your cover letter what time period you are interested in interning for, what days you would be available, and when you might start:
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Due to the overwhelming amount of resumes and responses we receive, we kindly ask for NO CALLS about this position. A hiring manager will reach out via e-mail to schedule an interview if they are interested.
Interns must be currently enrolled students or very recent graduates (within the last 6 months).
All interns are required to work at least one FULL workday (9:00-5:30) during the work week (M-F); partial days are not permitted on the program at this time.
